Checklist of Documents required from Applicants to the Graduate
Fellowships to be submitted with your complete fellowship application:
Recommendation Letters. Two letters of recommendation from professors or
professionals who are familiar with your academic and /or professional background are
required, unless you have already submitted them with your application for graduate
admission. Please note applicant to Psychology and applicants to the PhD program are
required to submit three letters of recommendation with their graduate Application.
Transcripts. You need to submit a copy of your transcripts from each university you have
attended, unless you have already done so with your application for graduate admission.
Specific Requirements to a particular fellowship:
The Writing Center fellowship Applicants need to submit a Writing Sample. Please
attach to this form or send to grad@aucegypt.edu a writing sample of at least 8 pages.
This can be all or part of a paper you submitted for a course.
Model Arab League (MAL)/Model United Nations (MUN) Fellowships Applicants.
should have sufficient history of participation in MAL or MUN. Applicants for the MAL
should have proficiency in the Arabic Language.
The SYLFF Ryoichi Sasakawa, Nadhmi Auchi, the Arab Women Professional
Program Fellowship (AWPP) Applicants must submit proof of participation community
services, civic engagement and /or demonstrated leadership skills
CV Required for all programs – Applicant must attach an updated CV.
TEFL/TAFL, International and Comparative Education applicants; You need to present
proof of teaching experience. Identify the kind of program(s) you have taught in and list
subject(s) and level(s) you have taught, giving dates. Please evaluate yourself as a teacher
or prospective teacher. Attach a separate sheet if necessary.
Any required eligibility documents should be attached or if necessary sent to the
following email address: grad@aucegypt.edu with the subject being in the following
format: "Name/ID (if available)/Type of Fellowship"

Please note that the fellowship application will not considered unless
you submit a graduate degree application online at:
http://www.aucegypt.edu/admissions/Pages/ApplyNow.aspx or submit a
hard copy to the Student Service Center, New Campus or to the New
York Office (if necessary).
