MORPHOLOGY 2 2nd year – winter term COURSE AIMS: to provide (and finish) an overview of morphology to introduce verbs and all the grammatical categories associated with this word class to help you understand better the typological differences between Czech and English verbs to make you aware of the typical difficulties for learners so that you can avoid them when teaching verbs REQUIREMENTS: This course is only for those students who have successfully finished the course Morphology 1 and have got the credit. You have to be present in 70% of the seminars and complete all the tasks assigned. At the end of this term you have the examination in morphology which will cover all the topics (see the Morphology 1 and Morphology 2 syllabuses). You are not allowed to take the examination unless you have the credit from Morphology 1 course and unless you reach 60 points (out of 100) for your homework tasks and the test in Morphology 2 course. The examination will be written and both theoretical and practical questions will be included. In case you fail the examination, you can sit for a re-take which will be also written.
