Mrs Cecilia Lewis
Mrs Lewis joined St Mary’s Catholic Primary school in September 1987 as
a class teacher and has always felt that it is a wonderful place for
children to be nurtured and to grow. The school community works hard to
ensure that it brings its Mission, Vision and Values alive by placing
children first and at the centre of the school’s life and purpose.
After spending a year working for the West Sussex Primary Advisory
team in 2000-2001, Mrs Lewis returned as the school’s Deputy Head and
Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
Her promotion to Head Teacher in March 2009 was the most exciting
time in her career and remains so.
Mrs Lewis has three daughters, one of whom currently attends St Mary’s
school. She and her family live in Worthing and feel part of a very special
sea-side community.
