Entry fee for all routes includes water and light refreshments at checkpoints
sandwiches and cakes at the finish.
Finish
All walkers must finish by 5.30pm to claim their food & be within the time
allowed to qualify for a certificate. Badges will be on sale.

Due to limited catering and parking facilities the maximum number is set at 250.
Closing date for entries will be Saturday 20th April 2013 or earlier if
maximum number is reached.

No acknowledgement will be sent unless a SAE is enclosed for the purpose.
One person per form please, photocopy complete form if more are required or
contact the organiser.
If you wish to retain your Checkpoint Card please hand in a SAE marked CP Card
and it will be forwarded.
Equipment
You are advised to wear sturdy shoes or boots according to weather conditions
as footpaths are uneven and can be very muddy.
For safety; carry a whistle, at least half a litre of water and a personal first
aid kit. It is recommended that you carry appropriate map and a compass.

RULES
1. Dogs on leads will be allowed on these routes.
DECLARATION AND ENTRY FORM
I have read and agree to abide by the rules of the event. I agree to observe the Country
Code at all times. I am in good health and have no medical condition that may cause
concern or inconvenience to others. I understand that participation is at my own risk and
that no liability is accepted by the organisers for any injury, damage or loss sustained by
me before, during or after the event.

2. This event is for walkers only; there is no provision for runners within the schedule.
3. Persons under 16 years must be accompanied by a person over the age of 18
years. Entrants under 18 years of age on the day of the event must have Declaration
signed by a parent or guardian.
4. Checkpoints must be visited in the correct sequence during their opening times and the
route description MUST be followed.

5. Walkers wishing to shorten their route after starting may only do so at CP 3, Romney
Street following the instructions of the marshals.

6. Marshals have the right to withdraw entrants if their fitness is in doubt, the country code
has been ignored or if they are behind schedule and unlikely to finish within the time
allowed.

7. Checkpoint cards must be clipped by a marshal at each checkpoint and are to be
handed in to the reception desk at the finish to enable all walkers to be accounted for.
8. If you retire, do so at a checkpoint, informing a marshal who will endorse the time and
retirement on the checkpoint card. The organisers will arrange transport to the finish
where your card must be handed to the reception desk. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
SHOULD ANYONE RETIRE WITHOUT INFORMING THE ORGANISERS.
9. When crossing fields of growing crops please follow the footpath and walk in single file.

12. Substitute entries for non-starters will NOT be accepted unless they are received
at least seven days before the event due to the additional work involved.
