Thank You for your prayers for the Thailand team from our church! Their trip was a great experience for all of the
members and went off without a hitch! So glad to have them all back safely. Also, I want to thank Mrs. Liz, Miss
Emilee, Miss Lauren, and Miss Katelin for holding down the fort in my absence the past couple of weeks. I know they
did a fabulous job! Also, thanks to Jessica Durbin and Mackenzie Emerson for volunteering to hand out candy during
the Downtown Trick or Treat event!
Facebook Just a reminder that we now have a Facebook page, Deanna’s Dance Factory! Log on and “like us”! If you
would like to leave a post to our page, feel free to do so. However, if you have a question that needs an answer fairly
soon, please use our email address. I only log on to Facebook about once a week.
Baby Update Everything is going great! On Friday, November 12, we will be four months along. Participate in the
poll in the waiting room. Do you think we’ll have a boy or girl? We really appreciate all of your prayers and
encouragement! What an exciting time!
Parent Agreement Forms were due Sept. 16. Please turn yours in a.s.a.p. if you haven’t already done so.
Christmas Program Just a reminder: Our Christmas program will be Saturday, December 4, 2:30 pm. Performing
students will arrive at 2:00 pm. A sign-up sheet is available at the counter now thru Nov. 18. During class Nov. 29Dec. 2, students who have signed up will receive costume pieces to borrow and wear with their required dancewear.
Tickets will also be on sale in the studio that week for $4.00. The tickets will also be sold at the door on the 4 th for $5
each. We will be presenting our Christian Nutcracker again this year!
June Recital Costumes Soon I will begin costume selection for the June Recital. Costumes will be ordered in
January when we return from Christmas Break. Costumes are expected to cost $55-70 for child sizes and $55-75 for
adult sizes. Costume money is non-refundable. Since we now have the online payment system, the options for
paying for the costumes have changed. The costume fee will be charged to your account between January 3-6.
However, if you’d rather pay for costumes a little at a time or would like to pay the full amount early, you are able to do
that thru the customer portal. If you are not planning to order a costume, you must send in written notification no later
than December 16 to avoid being charged after the break. For students joining in the second semester who miss the
bulk order and group discounts, a special order can be made for an additional $20.00.
Tip of the month: Be prepared for class! Make sure you have the proper dance/tumbling equipment packed in your
dance bag. Proper attire includes the proper shoes, tights, dancewear, pointe accessories, hair
accessories etc. Learning responsibility and preparedness for the dance studio will not only make you a better dance
student, but will also help you with responsibility in school and at home!
“Bring a Friend to Dance Day” – This is something new we are trying this year! Dec. 6-9, students may bring a
friend to class with them. The visitor should be of the appropriate age for the particular class he/she is visiting. This
special day is not for parents/grandparents or much younger/older siblings. Invitations will be given out in class this
week to pass on to your visitor!
Upcoming Activities for Winter 2011 - Cheer Camp for ages 6-12 and Princess Camp for ages 3-10.

Auditions for our new dance company/team will take place Thurs. Dec. 9, 6:30-8:30 pm for students in grade 6th-12th.
Check out our website after Nov. 12 for a list of techniques you will be asked to demonstrate.
