Company Law Enforcement Act, 2001 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order, 2001
I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the
powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Company Law Enforcement Act, 2001 (No.
28 of 2001), hereby order as follows:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Company Law Enforcement Act, 2001
(Commencement) (No. 3) Order, 2001.
2.
The 28th day of November, 2001 is fixed as the day on which sections 7 to 24,
25(b), 26 to 39, 72 to 74, 96, 97, 112 and 113 of, and the Schedule to, the
Company Law Enforcement Act, 2001 (No. 28 of 2001), shall come into
operation.
3.
The 1st day of March, 2002, is fixed as the day on which section 88 of the Act
aforesaid shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)
This order provides that sections 7 to 24, 25(b), 26 to 39, 72 to 74, 96, 97,112 and 113 of
the Act shall come into operation on 28th November 2001. It also provides that section
88 of the Act will be effective from 1st March 2002.
