Please use these as an example when you are developing your own formative assessments. Remember formative assessment is to be given throughout the teaching of a standard to help you guide your instruction based on students needs. Presentation demonstrates a decent understanding of the Georgia regions and the plants and animals found there. Presentation includes three or more plants from the chosen region. Presentation includes three or more animals from the chosen region. Pictures are included for all plants and animals. Information is given for each plant and animal that includes where it lives within the region, its life span, what it looks like, and its adaptations. Interpretation Perspective Teacher can imagine he/she is in the region using some (3-4) of the senses.
