Oral Presentations: English 330 Each student will be assigned one ten-to-fifteen minute oral presentation during the semester. You should discuss what you feel are the significant aspects of the portions of the reading you are responsible for, making sure to cite specific passages with page numbers as examples (at least three). You should also discuss the critical reaction to his or her work, using such reference book sources as Contemporary Literary Criticism, and Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, and such Miller Library computer databases as Academic OneFile, Proquest, LexisNexis, Contemporary Authors, and the list of Ejournals available under Language and Literature (with the Literature-General category being the best place to start). Make sure you acknowledge any source(s) used in your presentation. You will then be responsible for providing questions and issues for class discussion, although you will not be responsible for leading it. You will also be asked to hand in a list of any sources you use. You can record your presentation via web-cam or record a video. Your presentation will be posted in the class on Moodle. Presentations will be due the week before the specific readings are assigned.
