GG Schmitt & Sons has released the T-Seat XL™, a larger
and wider version of it’s award winning combination seat-leaning post -T-top
unit. The original T-Seat was recently named Fly Fish America’s Editor’s
Choice Award 2004.
“The T-Seat™ and T-Seat XL™ require no custom fitting, and can be
installed in minutes,” said Tim Leach, sales and marketing of GG Schmitt Marine
Hardware. “It’s an evolutionary, if not revolutionary, product that can be
installed in virtually any small center console boat, skiff or pontoon.”
The T-Seat XL’s frame is made of bright dipped anodized marine-grade
aluminum. The seat, which includes a storage box under the hinged bottom, is
covered with white premium marine grade vinyl. “Like all GG Schmitt products,
the T-Seat is engineered for years of service in the harsh marine environment,”
Leach said.

The canvas Sunbrella top is available in blue, green and black. The basic
frame of both T-Seats™ include a pull wire for electrical components and a
mounting tab for a mast light. Optional breakaway hinges allow the T-Seat™ to
fold backward for low-clearance storage. T-Seat XL™ has a completely
removable top half. Other options include, rod holders and a folding footrest. A
94-quart cooler will fit under the seat.
The T-Seat™ and T-Seat XL™ are delivered with mounting hardware,
installation instructions, and warranty card. GG Schmitt extends a two-year
limited warranty on the T-Seat™. Shipping weight is approximately 110 pounds.
