CUT, PASTE, AND CAPTION: PUTTING
PHOTOSYNTHESIS AND RESPIRATION TOGETHER
Instructions:
 Cut out the following cards and put them in some sort of order
 Categorize the cards: do they pertain to plants, animals or both
Past the cards onto poster paper. Cards pertaining to plants go on the left;
cards pertaining to animals go on the right; cards pertaining to both plants and
animals go in the middle.
 Write captions underneath each card to briefly describe what is occurring in
that picture; then, use arrows to show how one card leads to the next.
If time permits color your poster.
Use your magnifying glasses when necessary!
If you need to zoom in, draw a magnifying glass above your arrow.
If you need to zoom out, draw a magnifying glass above your arrow.
Words to use in your caption:
Chloroplast, chlorophyll, mitochondrion, glucose, ATP, energy, glycolysis, photosynthesis,
respiration, oxygen, carbon dioxide, cytoplasm, digestion, plant cell, animal cell.
