CURRICULUM VITAE CHARLES MUTISI I am an Animal Scientist with about 15 years of teaching, research and outreach experience in tropical livestock production and consultancy. My special areas of research are the improvement of livestock production and fodder production in the smallholder farming communities of Zimbabwe. This research work is mainly carried out on-farm with the participation of the farmers, postgraduate students and extension services. In addition, the research work involves extension activities which include the dissemination of research findings and technologies produced to other farming communities. I have authored and co-authored several publications in animal production and farming systems in the smallholder farming communities. I teach a wide range of both undergraduate and Master of Science courses. The courses are: Animal Science, Agricultural Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Animal Nutrition, Principles of Animal Production and Cell Biology and Biotechnology.
