DEFINITION OF ELIGIBILITY: 1. Whitemud Watershed Conservation District Ring Dyke Program is for yard-sites only. Agricultural land is not included in this program. 2. Rink dykes are to be adjacent to, or directly affected by District drains. 3. Ring dykes not adjacent to or directly affected by District drains would require a 3-way partnership between the involved sub-district, the municipality and the landowner. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RING DYKE PROGRAM LANDOWNER RESPONSIBILITY: 1. Complete the application in full. 2. Provide consent of entry for inspection and construction. 3. Provide sufficient room for construction, and open and close fences as required for construction. 4. Restrict livestock access after construction. 5. Maintain and repair ring dyke as needed. MUNICIPAL RESPONSIBILITY 1. The municipality will give consent for each ring dyke project application. 2. Retain the responsibility of all municipal crossings and structures. 3. RM to cost-share on natural waterways. WWCD RESPONSIBILITY 1. Determine application priorities/approval on the recommendation of Whitemud Watershed Conservation District and the Rural Municipality. 2. Applications on natural waterways reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 3. Provide survey and design. 4. Provide trap culvert if needed.
