Rosia Montana village is placed in the Central-Western part of Romania, in the N-V of the Alba county. Rosia Montana is a mountain village from the Apuseni
mountains, at 76 km from Alba Iulia city, 11 km from Abrud town, 15 km from Campeni town and 137 km from Cluj Napoca city.
Reclaim the Fields Camp 2011 in Rosia Montana will take place on the Jig Vaidoaia Plateau, 1100 meters altitude. You have to arrive in the Center of
Rosia Montana, also called Piata Veche, from where you have to walk through a mountain trail which will be marked by the Reclaim the Fields
organizers.

By car: access roads – if you are already in Romania, buy a map and follow this roads:

of Rosia Montana by first arriving to Gura Rosiei. Gura Rosiei is one of the villages of the Rosia Montana commune, and it is placed between Abrud and
Campeni. From Gura Rosiei to the Center of Rosia Montana it is 5 km, which you might walk in a lovely journey. Also, from Abrud / Campeni / Gura Rosiei
towards Rosia Montana – Piata Veche, there are numerous possibilities to hitchhike, also called in
Romania „Ia-ma nene / Autostop”. Hitchhiking is a very common way of transportation in Romania.
