You are receiving this letter because of your recent registration in our BLS, PALS or
ACLS courses. Please complete the complete the following prior to attending:

Complete the pretest for the desired course located at www.heart.org/eccstudent .
(Password for ACLS: compression, Password fro PALS: palsprovider). Please complete the pretest until a score of 80% is obtained.

Complete the “Early Heart Attack Care” quiz at: http://www.deputyheartattack.org/intro.html
*If you are an employee of the Methodist Health System please obtain course approval from your manager and obtain your cost center number.
*If you are not an employee of the Methodist Health System, please contact our office at
214-947-8444 (press zero) and arrange payment for the course. (ACLS $200.00, PALS
$275.00 for non-employees.)
The above items must be completed prior to attendance or you will not be allowed to attend.
Textbooks are available for purchase or to borrow upon request. The cost of the textbook is $40.00. If a borrowed textbook is not returned the day of the course it is the student’s responsibility to cover its cost.
