Place entire bag of chocolate morsels in the bottom of the Heat & Serve
Oval 8 ¼ cup Container.

Add cake mix and soft drink together in a separate bowl, stir gently to
mix batter. Pour over the chocolate morsels in the base of the Heat &
Serve Oval.

Put Heat & Serve Oval lid “loosely” on top of oval base (do NOT close lid
tightly onto base of Heat & Serve Oval)

Place in microwave oven at 100% Power for 8 minutes. Test center of
cake with toothpick to be sure it’s done-nothing should stick to toothpick.
If not done, cook at 100% Power for 30 Second intervals until toothpick
comes out clean.

Immediately turn base of Oval over onto platter so all chocolate morsels
will be on top as the cake’s frosting.

Serve warm. Note: Chocolate Morsels will harden once cake is completely
cooled. It’s easier to cut slices if you re-warm the leftover cake.

small can – Crushed Pineapple, drained
Cup Brown Sugar (dark or light, your choice)
Can Diet Cherry 7-Up – Room Temperature
Spread Brown Sugar in bottom of Heat & Serve Oval, then spread
drained Crushed Pineapple (VERY IMPORTANT-DRAIN PENEAPPLE
WELL). Continue with recipe as above. You can add pieces of
maraschino cherries if you like when you add the pineapple. The cherry
soda does give the cake a “cherry” flavor. May be served warm or cold.
