We encourage you to remember them in your prayers as well and if you have any prayer request, please contact the school
office and we will include them in the weekly Tidbits. Our prayers this week are with: Emma Cardenas who is dealing
with some health issues, Kayleigh Biggs who is having medical issues, Conrad Deanda who is recovering from surgery,
Josh Woods undergoing chemo therapy, Hope Torres who has stage 3 breast cancer, Cole Mikulik undergoing cancer
treatment, Peggy Ashley undergoing cancer treatment, and Michael Heck & Family.
The school & ECC will be closed Friday, April 3rd for Good Friday. School will be in session on Monday, April 6th.
Originally school was to be closed on April 6th. The school board voted to have school on April 6th due to the
cancellations we have had this winter.
Spring pictures are scheduled for April 8th & 9th. Group pictures (each class 18 month - 8th grade) will be taken on Wednesday, April
8th. All students (K-8) should wear their chapel uniforms. Group pictures are prepaid; payment must be turned in by Wednesday,
April 8th in the envelope that is being sent home today. Individual pictures for all students (ECC- Grade8) will be taken on Thursday,
April 9th. Proofs will be sent home for you to choose and purchase in the weeks following.
Spring BBQ and Auction: The Spring BBQ/Auction will be held on April 12th. Each class has made an art project and created a
basket which will be auctioned off at the BBQ. HELP: We are still searching for individual auction items for our live auction at the
BBQ. If you or someone you know has an item to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have not yet donated an item to the
basket, you can still do so on Monday, 4/6. The baskets will then be set out in the lobby& big room so pre auction bidding can begin.
We have attached a flyer with all the pertinent information about the BBQ and auction. After noting all the information, if you could
post this flyer somewhere or give it to someone you know, we would appreciate it. Additional flyers and posters are available in the
school office if you have a place to post them where you work of shop. Thanks!
LUTHERAN SCHOOLS SUNDAY – will be celebrated on Sunday, April 12. We will have special worship services, including
special music, songs and prayers on this day. The staff will sing an anthem at the 8am worship services and the school children (K-8)
will sing a special anthem at the 10:30 service. Our handbell choir will also play (We really need all of our handbell ringers to be
there if possible). We hope that everyone will make plans to attend! The PTL will sponsor a Bar-B-Que dinner after the services
until 1pm. There will also be a silent auction and a bidding auction, featuring themed baskets put together by each classroom and
crafts created by the school children. Bounce houses, games and refreshments will be available for the kids during the auction!
San Angelo Gives is a special online fundraising effort that lasts only ONE DAY-May 5, 2015. It is sponsored by San Angelo Area

Concho Valley. If you are so inclined and financially able, PLEASE go to sanangelogives.org on May 5 th and donate to our school!
$5, $10, $100, whatever you choose. Every gift, no matter how large or small is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support!
