IF YOU NEED TO EVACUATE:
 You will be notified by an Evacuation Team member at
your door or a Reverse 911 call. You will be directed to
the nearest evacuation center.
 Obey the directions of law enforcement and fire officers
and drive carefully.
 Try to remain calm and follow instructions of all
emergency personnel.
 Keep your vehicle fuel tank full if a fire is approaching
your area. Keys in car or by door.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME:
 Turn on house interior lights.
 Close heavy draperies. Remove lace-type draperies.
Close windows and doors.
 Leave driveway gates OPEN.
 Gather your important papers, financial documents,
medications and anything you may need if you cannot
return home for several days.
 Put your Evacuation Kit in your vehicle along with small
pets.
 Transport large animals to the Large Animal Evacuation
Site as directed by law enforcement officers.
