8 All suppliers who are employers in terms of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries
and Diseases Act 130 of 1993 as amended (COIDA)
1) Letter Of Good Standing with COID or Stamped Proof of registration with the
Compensation Fund for Workers’ Compensation
Or
2) Letter for Tender Purposes for employers that do not have employees but are
responding to a tender or RFx
9 All suppliers whose services constitute construction and /or engineering works in terms
of the Construction Industry Development Board Act 38 of 2000 and its Procurement
Regulations.

Proof of professional registration or a copy of any other registration certificate
pertaining to your relevant industry, e.g. ECB (Electrical Contractors Board), PSIRA
(Security services), ECSA (Engineering Consultants) and P.C.O. (Bush Clearing).
11 Supplier/Suppliers that does not fall into this category. Persons who make taxable
supplies in excess of R1 million (from 1 March 2009) in any 12-month consecutive
period are liable for compulsory VAT registration, but a person may also choose to
register voluntarily provided that the minimum threshold of R50 000 (from 1 March 2010)
has been exceeded in the past 12-month period.

Quality: Example or Draft QCP/ITP/Method Statement for the work to be done.
For supply and delivery only of critical plant equipment
Quality: Agreement or appointment letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM) or distributor confirming supplier as their agent and that the OEM will provide
technical support when required.
