Grand Knight Message from Darian Hunt: Thank you to everyone who attended
our September Meeting. It was nice to see a few different faces. As you
might have noticed we have a couple of Open Officer Positions. Jim Selly has
decided to remove himself from Chancellor to take on the roll of the
Treasurer – Thanks Jim!
Has anyone given any thought to how we can become a more Spiritual Council?
We often talk about how to build fellowship with our Members and our Parish.
Everyone in this Council and Parish are members for the same reason, their
faith. By looking for ways to enhance our faith through prayer and education
fellowship will follow. I would like to start by looking for a speaker
during lent and/or maybe a weekly prayer/bible study session during lent.
Give me a call or email with any suggestions/ideas.
Please continue to pray for a safe and productive harvest.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Block Party Setup and Cleanup.
KC Breakfast: Our first breakfast is Sunday Oct 10th! If you can donate an
hour or so it is greatly appreciated. However, if you cannot donate any
time, how about bringing your family to enjoy the meal and fellowship. Our
Breakfast’s are basically our only fundraiser, so we need everyone’s support.
Please note we have updated the Five Call Five List. Please pick up your
copy at the next meeting, print it off the Parish Website or email
dhunt1@frontiernet.net for a copy.

Pro-Life Message by Brother Larry Roche: We Knights of Columbus will
distribute the “Voter Guide for Serious Catholics” after all the Masses at St
Mary’s and St Henry on Oct 9th and 10th. This distribution is an opportunity
to educate our fellow catholics on the importance of the Life issues. Please
Volunteer. I plan to attend the talk by Kalley Yanta on Oct 14th, 2010 at
Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, MN. See the Poster in the Church.
