Roosevelt Biography Newspaper
Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt (October 27, 1858 – January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United
States (1901–1909). He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and
his leadership of the Progressive Movement, as well as his "cowboy" persona and robust masculinity.
TASK:
1.
Research Roosevelt using the internet, books, text, reference materials. NO PLAGIARISM!!!
2. Write 2 short headline articles:
a. An overview of his life (highlighting his presidency but including _____birthdate,
_____location, _____childhood, _____family, _____school, _____accomplishments)
b. One aspect that interests you the most about him (Nobel Peace Prize, the teddy bear,
Rough Riders, wife & mother died same day, etc.)

accomplished by Roosevelt during his Presidency. Each reform must include the:

b. Title of the reform
c. Brief explanation of the reform
