Inoa: Kuÿu One Hänau Power Point Presentation Criteria Checklist Directions: At the end of this project, you will have created a Kuÿu One Hänau Power Point Presentation. You will need to research the following information for your kaiäulu. Your Power Point Presentation should address all of the following points: 1. the moku or ahupua’a that your kaiäulu is a part of (you could include a map) 2. a famous Hawaiian saying (‘ölelo nöÿeau), song, or poem about your kaiäulu 3. significant geographic feature/s – winds, rains, rivers, mountains, etc. found in your kaiäulu 4. a summary or outline of main points gathered from an interview of another resident of that kaiäulu expressing that persons feelings, thoughts and connections to that area. 5. a brief summary of a myth or legend involving your kaiäulu 6. 2 pieces of significant historical information *Be sure to include captions or short descriptions that explain each slide. Visual design is an important part of this assignment. You may want to consider taking digital photographs to help enhance your presentation. Remember the rules of copyright. Many photos on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used. Click on the Principles of Visual Design Handout to get ideas on what to do and what not to do.
