Northeastern University
Northeastern University, founded in 1923, is a national key multi-disciplinary university under the administration
of the Ministry of Education, P. R. China. NEU consists of 15 colleges, such as School of international Exchange,
Graduate Schools, School of Humanities and Law, School of Foreign Studies, School of Fine Arts, School of
Business Administration, School of Science, School of Resources and Civil Engineering, School of Materials
and Metallurgy, School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, School of Information Science and
Engineering, etc. So far, there are 55 undergraduate programs, 170 master’s programs, 81 doctoral programs and
13 post-doctoral research stations.
NEU has adopted the police of opening to the world and tapping all manners of resources. NEU has been
accepting international students since 1950s and has set up academic exchange programs with 112 universities
and institutes from more than twenty countries and regions. It has accepted over 300 International students from
42 countries in Asia, America, Europe and Africa. We welcome international students from all countries to study

General scholars: RMB 25000 Yuan per year;
Senior scholars: RMB 30000 Yuan per year;
Chinese Language students: RMB 14000 Yuan per year, RMB 7500 Yuan per semester
