Guizhou University
Guizhou University, founded in 1902, is the only key university in Guizhou prioritized to develop itself in
line with the criteria of the "211 Project". The university consists of 20 colleges, offering 112 undergraduate
specialties, covering 11 branches of learning: philosophy, economics, laws, liberal arts, history, science,
engineering, agriculture and administration.The university has 24 provincial key subjects, 1 postdoctoral
research station, and 3 state-level postdoctoral research stations for key projects. It offers 11 PhD programs,
149 Master’s programs and 6 Master's programs for specialized subjects. Guizhou University is also one of
the ten Educational Aid Centers for Africa and Asia in China.
