Counselor
Developed treatment plans and established specific social and emotional goals for groups of emotionally
disturbed adolescents in a residential facility. Facilitated weekly group therapeutic sessions on various clinical
topics, including adoption issues, sexual abuse, and chemical dependency. Served as primary parent contact and
family counselor for individual student/clients.
Senior Counselor
Created and managed the Leadership division of Cascade. Supervised three counselors in program design for
their individual caseloads of 8-12 student/clients. Facilitated extended therapeutic workshops that targeted
children with specific trauma-related and/or developmental issues. These workshops employed a variety of
cognitive/behavioral, psychodynamic, and narrative therapeutic strategies. Provided ongoing college counseling
