emotional development. These characteristics are labile emotions,
personal identity, peer relationships, independence and testing
boundaries, and self-centered attitudes. Each characteristic
description allows the reader to become more cognizant and
aware of how important adolescent development is while allowing
them to become more familiar with the sensitive emotional and
social components involved
