Burials at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Evart Early Catholic burials in Evart were in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church churchyard. In 1880, the new cemetery was set up on The Muskegon River SW of Evart. Bodies from the churchyard were moved to the new cemetery. All records from the cemetery were destroyed when the church burned in 1922. Only the following names are verified as buried there.
