Senior Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist
Band 6, £30,634 - £40,406 pa inc.
We require a Senior Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist to join our busy but
friendly team in the stunning new Evelina Children’s Hospital. This worldrenowned department, which achieved the highest ranking in the recent
national (Kennedy) report, offers a comprehensive range of invasive and noninvasive procedures for the specialist care of children with complex cardiac
needs.
You will be expected to perform non-invasive procedures such as ECGs, 24hour BP/ECG monitor analysis, exercise stress tests, cardio-pulmonary
exercise tests and tilt table tests. In addition, clinical experience in the
paediatric catheter laboratory is highly desirable, but experience with adult
catheters, pacing or electrophysiology would also be highly valued. You will
be trained in any or all of the above areas as required.
We actively encourage staff to participate in teaching and research and to
further their professional development. Support is available to attend
seminars, lectures and relevant courses.
You will hold a BSc in cardiac physiology or demonstrable equivalent
knowledge and experience. Evidence of post-graduate development is
desirable.
Evelina Children's Hospital is well served by public transport and is close to
many of Central London's cultural amenities, theatres, shops and nightlife.
