PAEDIATRIC & PERINATAL HISTOPATHOLOGY (Stages C and D)

This West of Scotland training programme provides full training for the FRC Path,
Part II examination in Paediatric/Perinatal Pathology, successful completion of which
leads to the award of the CCT. Specific rotational training in paediatric
neuropathology and other specialist centres in order to fulfill the requirements for
training will be available. The post will be based at the Royal Hospital for Sick
Children, Glasgow. Applicants must have completed the FRC Path Part I
examination in Histopathology and must be in a recognized histopathology training
post and hold a National Training Number with approximately 2-3 years to CCT date
at the time of taking up post, or have approval from the Royal College of Pathologists
to enter the training programme at ST3 level (Stage C). This post had been approved
