Important instructions to presenters in the oral session Format of the oral session The session will start with an introduction by the chairs. Prostate Cancer: 3 presentations (4 minutes per presentation and 3 minutes discussion) Bladder Cancer: 1 presentation (4 minutes per presentation and 3 minutes discussion) Renal Cancer: 1 presentations (4 minutes per presentation and 3 minutes discussion) The session will finish with a short conclusion by the chairs Preparations with respect to your participation in this session The quality of the congress is extremely dependent on the calibre of the presenters and the EMUC Scientific Committee would like to remind you of a few key points: Presenters may use a PowerPoint presentation which should be limited to maximum 5 slides. Check your PowerPoint presentation at least 3 hours prior at the Speaker Service Centre. Last minute changes need to be handed in at the Speaker Service Centre 3 hours prior to the start of the session! Do not exceed the time limit: 4 minutes for your presentation and 3 minutes discussion. If you exceed this you will be interrupted and asked to finish. The EMUC Organising Steering Committee and the EMUC Scientific Committee kindly request that you disclose to the audience any links you may have with the industry related to the topic of your lecture at the beginning of your session. A link can be: being a member of the advisory board or having a consulting agreement with a specific company. Upload your presentation You will receive mid-October a link from Mevents, who is responsible for all audio visuals during the meeting, to upload your PowerPoint slides. Please upload your PowerPoint slides before 6 November 2014. As oral presenter you do not need to upload a poster PDF for this meeting. For the Speaker Service Centre please follow the signage from the main entrance. Selected webcasts will be available shortly after the sessions at http://www.emuc2014.org/ When you upload your slides you will be asked permission for webcasting of your presentation. Guidelines on how to prepare your PowerPoint slides Check you PowerPoint presentation at least 3 hours prior to the start of the session at the Speaker Service Centre. A technician will load your presentation on the computer network. Check http://www.emuc2014.org/ for a standard PowerPoint according to the EMUC house style. Your presentation can be loaded onto the network without problems if it does not exceed 100 MB: larger files can cause problems! PowerPoint versions accepted are PowerPoint MS Office 95, Office 97, Office 2003 and Office XP. Use embedded pictures, DO NOT use images linked to other files. Linked pictures will not show up in your presentation! Always make sure you bring a back-up of your presentation!
