DREMUK-WATTS FELLOWSHIP in FINANCE PROGRAM: Master of Arts/Science in Economics and Finance with a concentration in Finance. This master’s degree prepares students for positions as financial analysts in corporations or government agencies as well as doctoral programs. Candidates must complete 30 semester hours or 10 courses, with 18 hours of core coursework. The program is limited to international students and requires no graduate assistantship work. It is expected that the Fellow would finish the program on a fast-track within a year by enrolling and completing 12 hours during each fall and spring semesters and 6 hours during summer semester. For admission, applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree or a degree that is comparable to the U.S. baccalaureate from an internationally-recognized institution of higher learning with a four year undergraduate GPA meeting or exceeding B-. While proficiency in intermediate economic theory and statistics should be evident, knowledge of the fundamentals of calculus is also highly recommended. Applications must include official scores from either the Graduate Record Exam or the Graduate Management Aptitude Test. Required scores for admission to the program are as follows: percentile for overall score on GMAT or GRE equal to or greater than 30; percentile for verbal score on GMAT or GRE equal to or greater than 20; or percentile for quantitative score on GMAT or GRE equal to or greater than 30. The Fellowship starts in the fall term and deadline for the applications is June 15.
