WORK HISTORY
10/2009 to Present - WCO Exploration
Consulting Sr. Explorationist
 Geologic evaluation of 60,000 acre, Williston Basin, Bakken package, for
purchase and development
 Prospect generation in Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and Austin Chalk of LA
- Prospect confirmed by Devon’s acquisition of 400,000 acres
- TOC evaluation followed Passey, et. al., to identify organic concentrations
- Resistivity mapping followed Bartshe, et. al., to identify “sweet spots”
 Deeper pool and shallower pool prospect generation on client’s property
- Identified a potentially new “resource ” chalk, with elevated TOC
 Farm-in evaluation, Cooper Basin, Australia
 Advised on geologic matters concerning Kazakhstan prospect interpretation
 Kazakhstan prospect expert at NAPE and AAPG convention booths
 Created prospect marketing and presentation materials based upon my own
interpretation from integrating research, seismic and well data
 “Spot” QC’ed 90,000 miles of 2D seismic data and reviewed 15 prospects /
leads in TX, LA, MS, coast and AK, OK, as due diligence for corporate merger
 Client List: Radius Petroleum, Moyes and Company, Client Confidential,
Resource Exploration Services
04/2007 to 10/2009 - Seha Corp., Seoul Korea
Sr. Geophysicist/General Manager
 Detailed Interpretation of 3D and mixed vintage 2D seismic data over the Temir
and Zhanazhol sub-salt, carbonate platforms, Precaspian Basin, Kazakhstan
 Lead technical author of farm-out brochure
 Initiated research reports to:
- Validate in-house interpretations against published research
- Capture the exploration team’s insights for corporate “archives.”


Evaluate farm-ins for trap, seal, migration, source, economic probabilities,
environmental sensitivity, along with legal and political risks
 Prepared prospect reserves estimates via Monte Carlo simulation
 Supervised three technical and non-technical subordinates
08/2006 to 04/2007 – 3D Seismic Technical retraining, SMT, OpendTech DB
 Authored paper addressing seismic attribute selection and presentation
 Available on my web site as writing sample.
05/1987 to 08/2006 - Information Technology Industry Selected Accomplishments
 Smooth transition of mission critical financial application to new DBMS
 Completed a time critical financial program after developers left company
 Developed database indexing model that increased processing speed 1600%,
which reduced execution time from 8 hours down to 35 minutes
03/1984 to 06/1986 - Independent Geophysical Consultant
 Pre-trial consultation and testimony as geophysical expert in civil law suite
 G&G and investment prospectus developed for private drilling venture
11/1981 to 03/1984 - Northwest Exploration, Inc. (now Williams Companies)
 Originated 2D point-source/point receiver seismic acquisition method
