Abstract: Rosmarie Waldrop’s Poetry: Embodied Thought and Linguistic Gap --Deborah Meadows This paper enacts a beginning of a reading of Rosmarie Waldrop’s recent collection Blindsight, and in the spirit of her compositional techniques on the conditions of legibility, this paper necessarily is a mosaic of references rather than a traditional interpretation or disputation that seeks to substantiate a monolithic thesis. As a teacher and poet, I hope to enact a field of references that speak across to each other, that may generate lively interaction and “making-use” of the texts, and that as a sympathetic reading, I express how important I’ve found Waldrop’s work.
