RULES & REGULATIONS OF ENTRY

1. AQHA Professional Code Of Ethics RULE 1 as per Rule Book will be strictly enforced.
2. ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY, JAN 6TH 2014 - ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER JAN 6TH WILL INCUR A LATE ENTRY FEE OF
$10 PER CLASS. Emailed entries will only be accepted if accompanied by proof of payment.

WILL GO INTO THE DRAW TO WIN A PRIZE.****
3. NO CHANGE OF EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE ON DAY/S OF SHOW.
4. NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON SHOW DAYS UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF $20.
5. 1 Horse, 1 Rider Combination per entry form, extra forms available from show secretary, WGQHA website or you may copy. All fees
payable may be combined on the one form.
Any change of horse and rider combination must be noted in the office 30 minutes prior to the event.
6. All Competitors compete at own risk. The WGQHA (inc) and /or the show organizers and staff will not be held responsible or liable for the
loss of stock, equipment or property or any injury to any person or livestock entering the show or Cannibal Creek Reserve.
7. Public Liability Insurance is compulsory to ALL competitors. If you are a current financial member of the AQHA or WGQHA you are
covered. A Waiver will need to be signed if not a member of the AQHA or WGQHA. If you are not a member of the above you will need to
take out a day membership, at the cost of $15, payable with form to be completed at office on collection of back numbers.
8. Waiver form, signed, must accompany entries.
9. A PHOTOCOPY OF MEMBERSHIP CARDS, AMATEUR PERMITS AND REGISTRATION MUST BE SENT IN WITH
ENTRIES.
9. High Point Awards will be as follows, 3 Year Old, Junior Performance Horse, Senior Performance Horse, Amateur Junior Performance,
Amateur Senior Performance, Select Amateur Performance and Youth. Prize money will be for the AA show only.
10. At the Discretion of the Show Committee, entry fees only will be refunded on the presentation of a signed Veterinary Certificate or
Doctors Certificate.
11. Event Rules will be in accordance with the AQHA.
12. This Show is approved by the AQHA “AA” and “A”.
13. PERFORMANCE EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL REGISTERED BREEDS.
14. PRIZE MONEY WILL BE FOR THE “AA” SHOW ONLY AND MUST BE COLLECTED BY ONE HOUR AFTER THE
COMPLETION OF THE SHOW. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN ALL PRIZE MONEY BEING FORFEITED TO
WGQHA.
15. Prize money in Amateur & Youth Classes will be deemed to be won by the horse (as per AQHA rules).
16. All Prize money paid to 4th place, (40%,30%.20%,10%,).
FEATURE EVENTS ARE GUARANTEED PRIZE MONEY.
Ribbons to 6th place in all events.
17. Any protests must be lodged in writing with the show secretary within 60 minutes of the conclusion of the event and accompanied by a
$50 protest fee (refundable if protest upheld). Disputes will be dealt with by the Disputes Committee and all decisions will be final.
18. Numbers are allocated to each Horse/rider combination and must be worn as follows:HALTER -- ON BACK, WESTERN PERFORMANCE -- ON SADDLECLOTH, BOTH SIDES, ENGLISH -- ON BACK or ON BOTH
SIDES OF ENGLISH SADDLE CLOTH.
COMPETITORS WHO ENTER THE ARENA WITH AN INCORRECT NUMBER OR NO NUMBER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
FROM THE EVENT.
19. At the discretion of the show committee random drug testing may be carried out.
20. No phones to be used on or in the performance arena or marshaling area by riders or handlers.
21. No unauthorized person to be in the marshaling area. This will be policed in accordance with the risk management policies of the AQHA
& WGQHA.
22. Free entry to Cannibal Creek Reserve.
23. NO DOGS PERMITTED IN THE ARENA OR MARSHALLING AREAS. ALL DOGS MUST BE UNDER LEASH CONTROL AT
ALL TIMES.
