Teachers Worldwide
Bell Teacher Campus offers two week residential Teacher
Development courses. These courses will be delivered by Bell in
the grounds of Homerton College which is part of the University of
Cambridge.
Accommodation
You will be accommodated in single en-suite rooms at Homerton College. The package includes daily breakfast and weekday evening meals
(Monday – Friday). There is a ‘buttery’* where reasonably-priced snacks, sandwiches, teas and coffees can be bought at lunchtime.
Wi-Fi is available in bedrooms with a pay-as-you-go card.
There is a laundrette on-site with coin-operated washing and drying machines.
All accommodation is on a single room basis. Unfortunately, the college is unable to offer any shared accommodation.
*Buttery: a room in colleges, esp. at Oxford and Cambridge universities, from which articles of food and drink are sold or dispensed to the
students.
Teacher development course timetable
Here is a typical week on one of Bell's teacher development courses. In addition to your chosen course lessons, you have the opportunity to
attend a range of talks and workshops by trainers and plenary lectures by leading English language practitioners. Friday afternoons are free for
you to explore Cambridge or go on on additional excursions.
