Graduate associateships in the Movement Sciences area require approximately 20 hrs per
week in some combination of the following: (1) the teaching of & preparation for the
laboratory sessions associated with the courses in the Movement Sciences. These courses are
taught to graduate and undergraduate in Movement Sciences, Physical Education, Applied
Exercise Science, and Physical Therapy. (2) the assistance with data collection and analysis
for on-going Movement Sciences laboratory research, and/or (3) the keeping of office hours
and tutorial hours.
Graduate fellowships are usually available in some of the following areas: Physiology of
Exercise, Biomechanics/Kinesiology, Performance Assessment, Statistics, Research Methods,
and Motor Learning.
As an associate member of the Movement Sciences Laboratory staff, fellows are expected to
present and conduct themselves as professionals in the area.
