Life Science (Cells)Multiple Intelligences Project Choices Due Wednesday, September 10th Ms. Jenness/Mrs. Ward Visual/Spatial: Create an enlarged 3-dimensional model of an animal or plant cell. Select items to represent specific organelles. Be sure to label the parts of your cell model and include details about the functions of the organelles. OR Create a cartoon or comic book that brings the organelles to life using personification. Show your understanding of cells and organisms while being creative with names like Vicky Vacuole, etc. Logical/Mathematical: Create a powerpoint or smart notebook slide show that focuses on mathematical numbers related to cells and the organelles within them (like the number of cells in a human body, or microscope magnifications, data, etc.). Research your information for accuracy, and limit your presentation to 6-8 slides. Verbal/Linguistic: Write a series of poems (3-5) using imagery and figurative language while showing your understanding of plant and animal cells and organelles. Include some visual artwork to go with your poems. Musical/Rhythmic: Write a song or multiple songs about cells and the functions of the organelles within them. Or, alter the words to a familiar song, and change it to a life science/cells theme.
