Screenprinting Students will learn how to create fine art screenprints and screened tee shirts and apparel. All of the various approaches to screenprinting will be explored, from the photo emulsion technique to the stencil block-out method. Experimental Puppetry An ancient art for the post-modern artist, puppetry gives voice to our most impossible ideas. In this studio, you will create your own universe out of the world's cast-off junk and raw materials. Learn about the different forms and styles, construct a puppet of your own devising, and help direct and puppeteer an ultimate performance as edgy, wild, and relevant as your imagination dares. Comic Book & Fantasy Art This studio is an introduction to the ideas and tools of the comic book & fantasy art trade and how to use them. It will cover the nuts and bolts of story board drawing, page layout, story concepts and dramatic development, but will also focus on individual projects and individual creativity. Experimental Photography Using some traditional and much non-traditional equipment and methods, create wholly new and different works in the medium of photography.
