DR. WILLIAM BENGSTON 為紐約聖約瑟夫大學社會學教授，目前活躍於癌症病

So begins Chasing the Cure, in which Dr. William Bengston, in collaboration with
Sylvia Fraser, reveals his extraordinary ability to cure or remit various illnesses,
including some forms of cancer, in both animals and humans.
Bengston’s research in the areas of anomalous healing and energy medicine combined
with his successful lab experiments have garnered attention across North America. In
September, he was interviewed on Dr. Mehmet Oz’s show (on the Oprah and Friends
network) about his energy healing experiences, and Dr. Oz has suggested that Bengston
should appear on the Oprah show. Chasing the Cure debunks some of the myths behind
holistic medicine and challenges conventional medicine’s reticence to address the power
of therapeutic touch.
Chasing the Cure also contains a teaching supplement, as Bengston has found that this
healing ability can be learned and is not specific to himself, making the implications of

About the author:
DR. WILLIAM BENGSTON is a professor of sociology at St. Joseph’s College in
New York, and is active in energy healing, giving regular seminars across North
America.
SYLVIA FRASERis the author of six novels and four works of non-fiction and is one
of Canada’s most respected journalists and writers. Fraser has just been awarded the
2008 Rogers Writers’ Trust of Canada’s Matt Cohen Prize, in Celebration of a Writing
