Paige Blanchard (‘13) was recently
selected by U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp to
serve as an intern in her Grand Forks
office. Paige is a student at UND
majoring in communications.
Private James D.R. Opitz (‘14) was
one of 55 recruits in Training Platoon
2115 who recently graduated from basic
training at the Marine Corps Recruit
Depot in San Diego. Opitz was the
prayer leader for the platoon and also
served at Mass. He will now report to
Camp Pendleton's Infantry Training
Battalion.
