Bannu Medical College.
Bannu medical college was established on August 31st, 2006 via Provincial
Government notification No: SO-V/2-36/2006. The college is temporarily based
in a newly constructed building of Govt. High School No.3, having enough
infrastructures and a covered area of 46,000 sq feet. The subject building has
been transferred from Education to Health Department, Govt of NWFP.

The Chief Provost is the overall Incharge of the hostels’ management.
The College has seven hostels for accommodation of the students. Two hostels
are reserved for female students and five hostels are reserved for male
students of the college. The female hostels have a female Provost, female
Warden and a female House Keeper along with support staff of the hostel.
Similarly there is a male Provost for the male students and male Wardens for

8.1 Sports and Physical Activities:
Dr. Akhtar Ali Assistant Professor Physiology Department is the Chairman of Sports and
Physical Activities. He is responsible for all activities of this society. The Chairman is
facilitated by Dr. Mohammad Shoaib Khan, Co-Chairman of the sports and physical
activities. Shabir Ahmad Khan a second year student is the General Secretary of these
Activities.
The sports and physical activities in the college are well organized and the students are
participating in the provincial and inter-colleges sports events.
The female students are participating in indoor games like badminton etc.

This society is working for the welfare of the community of Bannu city and around. They
collect bloods from healthy individuals and provide to the needy sick individuals. They
