IM - Advised panel that papers regarding the under-spend have not
yet been sent as the Team wished to have an accurate picture of the

cost so much.
IM – Did not cost that particular job but will look into it.

Repairs Priorities – Paul Lightfoot & John Everett
PL – Took panel through the main aspects of the report highlighting
three areas that need to change:i) the culture of the staff
ii) the I.T system which is about to go into procurement &
iii) how we actually deliver repairs
Issue is mainly in regards to the timescales into which we categorise
the repairs.
Now looking at changing some of the timescales and priorities and
advised panel of the proposed revisions as contained within the
report.
JW – Will Housing Direct be aware of what you are implementing.
PL – Yes but the I.T system is not good and the staff will need to be
trained.
JW – Would like a one off meeting where this can be discussed.
PL – The timescales provided within the report are all ‘within’ and it’s
worth mentioning that a lot of this hinges on the implementation of a
new IT system. Provided a rough oversight of how long the
implementation could take.
JW – As you do not have an I.T system we need to discuss.
PL – This report is not so much about the I.T system but more about
the priorities.
JW – Read out the recommendations to panel and proposing that
P.L liaises with SW about a date for a meeting of about an hour to
discuss this issue.
