Obituary for Mrs. Henry (nee Annie Agema) De Kraker appeared in the Holland Sentinel on 7-24 1956 Mrs. De Kraker, Former Resident Here, Dies Mrs. Henry De Kraker, former resident of Holland, died Sunday at her home 845 Kalamazoo Ave., S.E., Grand Rapids. She was 79 years old. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John De Went of Hudsonville, Mrs. La Zora Eash of Alamo; two sons, Cecil De Kraker of Grand Rapids, Lewis De Kraker of Grand Haven and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30, at De Vries Funeral Home in Grand Rapids. Dr. Ralph Danhof, former pastor of Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed church here, will officiate. The body will be brought to Holland for burial at Pilgrim Home cemetery. (A second obituary also was printed in a Grand Rapids paper on July 23, 1956) Mrs. Anna De Kraker, 79, wife of Henry De Kraker, retired butcher, died Sunday morning at her home, 845 Kalamazoo Ave., S. E. Born in the Netherlands, Mrs.De Kraker immigrated to the United States at the age of 7 and lived in Holland until she moved to Grand Rapids 43 years ago. She was a member of Neland Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Survivors besides her husband are two sons, Cecil H., instructor at Junior college, and Lewis of Grand haven; two daughters, Mrs. John De Went of Jenison, and Mrs. LaZora Eash of Alamo; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m.Wednesday in the De Vries Chapel. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery in Holland.
