To install the Batteries into the mouse please do the following: Step1. Open the battery compartment. Step2. Insert the batteries as shown on the picture below inside the battery compartment. Step3. Close the cover. Whenever you’d like to use the mouse, you should pull out the receiver from the bottom part of the mouse and insert it to the USB port (see the figure 1 below). 2. Whenever the mouse is not in use you can store the receiver in a special slot at the bottom of the mouse (see the figure 2 below) – so the receiver will not be lost. The CD will start automatically (if the auto-run function is enabled). Otherwise you can start installation manually by clicking the “setup.exe” file. An icon of the mouse will appear in the Windows system tray after successfully completing the software installation. Power-Save function This mouse is equipped with Traveling-Power-Save function. Whenever the receiver is disconnected from the PC the LED of the mouse will be switched off automatically to save the battery. Whenever the mouse is not used for 8 seconds it will fall into sleep state. To wake the mouse up just click any button or rotate the wheel. Restoring factory default settings You can restore the factory default settings. To do so please do the following: 1. Check whether the batteries are fully charged; if the batteries are dead, please replace them with the new batteries. 2. Press the right button and the middle button (the scrolling wheel) at the same time. 3. Insert the receiver in the USB port of your PC. GEMBIRD EUROPE B.V. http://www.gembird.eu 8
