– POST OFFICE (FT296)
Applications are being sought for the position of Administrative Officer
– Post Office (includes the role of Postmaster) at the Norfolk Island Post Office in the Bi-Centennial Complex.
To be successful for this position you will need to have high level experience in the day to day administration of postal services or similar, including supervision of staff; be competent in financial management including cash handling, reconciliation and banking; have knowledge of design and implementation of business and marketing strategies; have the ability to implement efficient and effective customer service strategies; be able to promote and maintain a positive work team environment; be computer literate especially in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and internet; a demonstrated capacity to support and lead staff through change and improvement programes; and have well developed planning and organisational skills with proven personal qualities including honesty, accuracy and confidentiality.
