Objective:
1.
Study the concept and theory of feedback control.
2.
Practice using MATLAB/Simulink as mathematical software tools.
3.
Learn an application of feedback control by practical implementation
Course Outline:
Principles of automatic control systems. Mathematical modeling of physical systems. Transfer functions. Block
diagrams and signal-flow graphs. Introduction to state-variable analysis. Stability of linear control systems. Time
domain and frequency domain analysis of stability. Root-locus analysis. Frequency-response analysis. Basic
control actions and industrial automatic controllers. Design of control systems and compensation techniques.
