Brief course description
This course provides the understanding of human-technology
interaction, as well as new technological phenomena and
technological changes in the context of information society.
It also provides philosophical, sociological and cyber-anthropological
interpretations of different aspects of human-technology interaction
and technological changes.
Information society. Techno culture, technological determinism and
techno fundamentalism. Capitalism and consumer culture. Hacker
culture and maker movement. Gaming. Posthumanism and
transhumanism. Cyber culture. Virtual environments and virtual
existence. Digital afterlife. The coming of AI.
