The first visit will be from March till May and then from September till December. We invite professors (minimum PhD degree) for delivering lectures at our university by the following disciplines: Agronomy Faculty: Ecology, Agronomy, Forestry and forest resources, Soil science and agro chemistry, Plant protection Architecture Faculty: Architecture, Design Veterinary Medicine and Animal Breeding Technology Faculty: Biotechnology, Veterinary medicine, Veterinary sanitation, Technology of food products, Technology of animal products, Farming and hunting, Fishery and industrial fishing Computer System and Professional Education Faculty: Professional education, Information system, Computing Machinery &Software Land management Faculty: Geodesy and cartography, Land Use Planning, Cadastre, Estimation (Appraisal) Technical Faculty: Transport, transport machinery and technology, Technology tools &equipment, Technology of processed production, Standardization, Metrology & Certification, Agro techniques and technology Energy Faculty: Heat Engineering, Power engineering, Radio techniques, Electronics &Telecommunication, Agriculture energy supply Economy Faculty: Economy, Management, Audit and accounting, Finance, Marketing, Social and Culture Service If somebody agree to visit our university they should send us: CV, scanned diploma of PhD, Doctor, Full Doctor or Associated professor, working plan for 1 or 3 credits by the above mentioned specialties. Expenses will be from the fund of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan including: air flight, accommodation, daily allowance and payment for delivering lectures. In the case of confirming our proposal, we’ll send them an agreement where they can see all requirements. ___________________________________________________________________________ SECOND PROPOSAL: opening Master and PhD program Our university plans to open Master and PhD program by the following specialties: Master - Heat Engineering, Design, Social and Culture Service, Audit and Accounting, Plant protection, Technology of processed production, Transport, transport machinery and technology, Technology tools & equipment, Technology of food products, Estimation (Appraisal) PhD - Marketing, Architecture, Standardization, Metrology & Certification, Professional education, Farming and hunting, Forestry and forest resources, Finance, Management, Soil science and agro chemistry, Fishery and industrial fishing, Power engineering, Land Use Planning, Cadastre For opening these specialties we should take license from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and we need the following: - universities should be accredited (see in the attached file); - agreement between universities in the field of education and science (academic mobility, scientific internship, realization of PhD programs etc.) ; - confirmation of professor that he will be co-supervisor for PhD students in written form on the official paper signed by rector or vice rector; - professor’s CV, list of papers, scanned copies of diploma (PhD, Doctor, Professor) In the case of professor’s confirmation, expenses will be from Kazakhstan’s side (cosupervision, travels etc.) HEI accreditation is a type of quality assurance process under which services and operations of post-secondary educational institutions or programs are evaluated by an external body to determine if applicable standards are met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the agency. In most countries in the world, the function of educational accreditation is conducted by a government organization, such as a ministry of education. In the United States, however, the quality assurance process is independent of government and performed by private membership associations. ____________________________________________________________________________ THIRD PROPOSAL: Academic mobility Academic Mobility considered in BA, MA and PhD educational programs in Kazakhstan refers to BA, MA and PhD students in higher education moving to partner university outside their own country to study which ensure transfers of knowledge and experience between Europe, USA, Eastern Asia and Kazakhstan. Within the academic mobility BA, MA and PhD students are offered short (1 month, 1 semester) and long-term (one year) mobility grants funded from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan focused on specific needs of majors of our university. The list of majors is provided. So, we are looking for the partner universities to host our students starting this spring semester 2013.
