Chapter I: Introduction
Thesis
1, 2, 3, CHEESE! Photography is a creative art. The job I would like to pursue when
I graduate from high school is that of photography. I came about this job because I like to take pictures. I think this is the ideal job because I can see myself doing this job everyday and not get bored. When I got my first camera I was snapping things here and there. I love to express my art through the camera with colorful pictures and all. If I become a photographer it will be a dream come true.

Work conditions depend on who you’re working for. You can work in studios or travel to various places. Most photography is done in doors, especially if you’re a wedding photographer or a portrait photographer. Most photography work setting is very quiet and peaceful simply because of the concentration needed for photographer while working. Traveling is another common work setting. You may get called in for a shoot in
Las Vegas while you live in Texas. When you are called on a job in cases where you have to travel that means you need to show up on time! You could work from night time at a party until the people leave that next morning. In these conditions you need to complete multiple task & duties.

Tasks and Duties
As a photographer tasks will need to be completed. Some task are carrying heavy equipment, meeting deadlines, and scheduling appointments. When taking pictures you must carry your camera no matter the weight or size.
Especially if you’re a photographer for the news paper. Meeting deadlines is a very important task for photographers, especially for projects. Keeping up with your schedule is another important task. You don’t want to book a shoot for someone and then have somebody booked at the same time. Being organized and knowing what’s going on will help you throughout a day’s work. But that’s where your assistant plays their role. Other simple tasks are keeping up with records, purchasing equipment, designing albums, and advertisement.
Employment Opportunities
There are different types of photography careers. Such as a commercial photography, wedding photography, and portrait photography. You can move up and down the ladder in this field of photography. You go from being a paid photographer to being a manager over the whole studio. Or you can move down from being a paid photographer to being an assistant. Depending on who and where you work depends whether your hours can be flexible. You can work part or full time for any photography studio. But if someone calls you in you have to be ready to shoot. You can transfer from one studio to another.
This field will benefit you in the graphic and or arts career field.

Photography Career 6
There is expected to be at least a 25% increase in the year 2018. The photography field is a very competitive. The sociality may vary, depending on if you work for someone or not. The technology might change slightly simply if a photographer sparks an idea in their head to help them in a day’s work. As far as the economy, I don’t think the photography will make a difference.
Chapter V: Personal Fit
Personal Satisfaction and Rewards
There are many rewards to being a photographer. Such as a great photo, the pay, and photography goals. These rewards are very rewarding especially when you reach your photography goal. I have a lot of passion for photography as well. I’ve been inspired to complete this goal for some time to be a photographer.
I’m so eagerly to be photographer I’ve started my own little album.
My behavior style is very determined and dedicated. I am a people person so I can work with people of all sorts. I’m very creative and like things to go my way.
Especially in a photograph, if it’s not right it’s not tight. The job is compatible with my career especially with the creativity part.
I am expected to earn 20,000 to 22,000 a year. The average for all photography jobs is 69,750. The pay is alright but I could use like 10,000 more. I want to live in
Jacksonville FL. This is where I will have to find a career.
I don’t plan on having kids but I do want to live in my own house. The income would fit into my desired lifestyle
Photography Career 7 because of the type of car and house I want to live in. But if I was to have a family I wouldn’t be able to support the whole family by myself because of the income.
