a) Explain the importance of James Oglethorpe, the Charter of 1732, reasons for
settlement (charity, economics, and defense), Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, and the
city of Savannah.
Instructions for Students: You have just been asked by your former third grade teacher to create a storybook
about the founding of the Georgia colony. Your teacher plans to share the storybook you create with their class
to help their students to better understand how and why the Georgia colony was created, as well as who was
involved in the founding of the colony. Your story must explain the importance of the role James Oglethorpe,
Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, the Charter of 1732, the reasons for settlement (charity, economics, and defense),
and the city of Savannah played in the creation of Georgia colony. Your book must have a combination of
pictures and dialogue. It must also be colorful and neat with no grammatical errors. Use the terms listed below
