Lord’s Acre 12th Annual 10K Run or 5K Run/Walk

Powell Butte Christian Church on Hwy 126 between Redmond and Prineville
The Lord’s Acre started 69 years ago as a church fundraiser. With donations from 1 acre of a farmers/ranchers
operations, funds raised were utilized to pay off the churches mortgage. Lord’s Acre was such a success that it has
continued ever since. Funds generated now are placed in three areas: missions, capital improvements and college
scholarships. Preparations for the annual event occur year round. The day of the event includes: craft and bake
sales, and an auction which includes sales of hand-made quilts. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the concert and other
activities. Lunch consists of a pit cooked beef, lamb, and pork meal served fresh with all the trimmings. For more

Race course runs on back roads in Powell Butte. Aid stations are available on both courses. The 5K course is out &
back and kid friendly. 10K course is a loop.
